Avon Public Library Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
March 9, 2015 · Matthew Mayol · Interior Design, Libraries, Municipal, News · 0 CommentsThe OMS team is proud to announce that the renovation project for the Avon Public Library is complete.
The changes and improvements to the library include new custom designed suspended LED lighting throughout, radio frequency identification tags (RFID) on all library materials, a new, more efficient circulation desk with adjacent business center, and a new covered canopy book drop for after hours use. In addition, the library now has an inspired and age appropriate children’s area as well as a dedicated teen/young adult room with gaming area. Carpets, paint and wall coverings, and public restrooms were updated.
There will be a Dedication Ceremony on March 19 from 4 to 6 pm with a ribbon cutting at 5 pm. We invite anyone who is interested to attend.
