Avon Public Library Spotlight: Teen/Young Adult Area
March 13, 2015 · Matthew Mayol · Client Projects, Interior Design, Libraries, Municipal, News · 0 CommentsThe Avon Public Library’s previous teen/young adult area was outdated, small, and difficult to find in the existing library. The OMS team had a vision to create a vibrant, flexible, and collaborative teen environment. To achieve this goal, the renovation included new Hayworth “hello” mobile chairs, Sparkeology “Eddie” tables with integral technology, orange “hoop” tables and stools for social meetings, and a JSI “connect” collaborative seating area with technology for gaming, videos, and TV.
To celebrate the renovation of the new library, there will be a Dedication Ceremony on March 19 from 4 to 6 pm with a ribbon cutting at 5 pm. We invite anyone who is interested to attend.
