Mt. Vernon Middle School Phase 2
OMS Architecture is pleased to announce Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation is receiving bids until Thursday, September 14, 2017 for the upcoming Phase 2 Additions and Renovations.
The project consists of architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work as indicated on the bidding documents for Additions and Renovations to Mt. Vernon Middle School, 1862 W. State Road 234, Fortville, Indiana 46040. Work includes construction of a new administration area, classrooms, and other accessory spaces and related renovations with new construction of approximately 20,000 square feet and 5,500 square feet of interior renovation.
BID OPENING: The sealed Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter in the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation Board Room.
TYPE OF BID: The Work will be for a stipulated sum. Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by Odle McGuire Shook, Indianapolis, Indiana and its consultants dated August 15, 2017.
PRE-BID MEETING: A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Middle School; meet at the main entrance of the building at 10:00 a.m., local time on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 for the purpose of previewing the site and the Project. All bidders are encouraged to attend.
Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, September 14, 2017. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened.
EXAMINATION OF DOCUMENTS: The Bidding Documents are on file with the Owner and may be examined by prospective bidders at the following locations:
