We encourage everyone to check out this recent story by WTHR that describes the Glossbrenner Mansion and its wonderful history. The piece also includes a photo-tour of some featured rooms for anyone in the market for a great, historic property for sale.

The Glossbrenner Mansion is located at 32nd and Meridian in Indianapolis and was listed for sale on the market last fall by Indiana Landmarks. The property is 7,200 square feet and has many notable Jacobethan Revival design features including stained glass windows and English rose pattern embellishments.

The mansion was designed by Manchester, England native architect Alfred Grindle who immigrated to the United States in 1888.  Grindle practiced in several cities throughout Indiana including Ft. Wayne and Muncie, eventually settling down in Brown County.  Learn more about Grindle and his notable Indiana projects.
