Matthew R. Mayol, AIA, MBA, LEED AP BD+C, CDT
President/CEO & Architect

Matt Mayol PresidentMatt Mayol serves as president and CEO of OMS and oversees the strategic focus and business performance of the firm. Well respected for his keen insight and problem-solving abilities, Matt has an in-depth understanding of all areas of architecture and engineering. A graduate of Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Butler University’s Masters of Business Administration Program, Matt is directly responsible for overall quality initiatives at OMS including design excellence, sustainability and technical delivery. He also plays a key role in guiding the firm’s staff development, business diversification and collaborative communication processes. Matt has been with the firm since 1992.

Ron Foster
Project Manager

Ron Foster_OMS CorpMr. Foster has impressive and numerous core competencies, technical expertise, and experience for the firm’s Project Manager position. These include previous related management positions with AECOM, a worldwide engineering management giant and a Project Procurement Management executive level position with fortune 500 company, Caterpillar Global at their corporate headquarters in Peoria, Illinois. His responsibilities included multi-management oversight of a $50 million procurement an operation that encompassed related activity responsibility at 400 facilities globally. Odle McGuire Shook also sees this as an opportunity to add talented experience that can assist in some operational internal systems strategies. Updating technology, upgrading system software, improving internal project support and reporting procedures will logically increase company efficiencies, providing outcome cost-savings for clients and the company. Ron Foster, originally from Peoria Illinois, attended and earned his college degree at Northwestern University in Chicago Illinois, where he also played Varsity Football and was a Track and Field athlete.

Benjamin Rawlins, ASLA, LEED AP
Principal and Director of Site Planning

Over the course of his award-winning career, Ben has been involved in a wide variety of projects encompassing educational and cultural facilities, parks and recreation, urban revitalization, mixed-use developments, community planning, residential and golf community planning, along with transportation-related planning and design. As a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) skilled in all areas of analysis, planning, design and management, Ben’s approach is to develop a sense of place within the landscape and to explore all of the natural and cultural influences that will make the design sustainable. Ben has been with OMS since 1985.


Gerard J. Skibinski, AIA
Senior Principal, Project Manager & Architect

Gerard plays an important role in project design and project management. His participation in the architectural process includes schematic and design development of drawings, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating and construction field observation. He utilizes his sound knowledge of professional standards and innate attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of all documents. Gerard’s merit is echoed in the satisfaction of the firm’s clients and project recognition by the American Institute of Architects. Gerard has been with the firm since 1986.


Debra S. Sparks, IIDA
Interior Designer/Space Planner

Debra SparksDebra Sparks is a nationally recognized and award-winning interior designer, highly respected for her collaborative design, planning and programming methods. Her work extends to every arena including education, higher education, healthcare, senior living, libraries, corporate offices, commercial properties, and civic/municipal projects. Debra is an expert in space planning, programming, furniture and equipment specifications, custom millwork design, color and finish selections, and signage design. She focuses on the client’s unique needs and vision, implementing solutions that reflect the culture, mission and financial objectives of the client. Debra has been with OMS since 2005.

Todd McLean, AIA
Project Architect

Todd has over 15 years of experience as a project architect. He has worked on commercial, corporate, life science, hospitality, and educational facility design. Todd graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and then received his Masters of Architecture from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas.



Matthew Dunahee
Project Designer

Matthew has worked on numerous life science, civic, and healthcare projects as a project designer since graduating from Southern Illinois University. He is also our “in-house” IT management. Matthew has extensive knowledge about technology and the latest software in Revit and AutoCAD.


Shailee Shaw
Graduate Architect

Shailee Shaw_OMS CorpMs. Shah received her graduate degree in architecture and has accepted a position with Odle McGuire Shook as a working “Graduate Architect”. Shailee Shah is originally from India were very early in her education, she realized her great interest and affinity for mathematics and contemporary architectural design. She’s a graduate of California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco, receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a “Graduate with Distinction” honor in May of this year.

While an undergraduate she had the following distinguishing achievements:

Jack Pardue
Senior Construction Administrator

Jack has experienced over 40 years of construction administration and over 25 years of overseeing HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing. He works closely with the engineers, architects, and owners start to finish on a project. Jack has experience working with universities, schools, libraries, government facilities, community buildings, criminal justice, and public safety facilities, medical offices, and commercial buildings.
