OMS has “Living” Prospects in Illinois
September 10, 2012 · Matthew Mayol · Government · 0 CommentsSPRINGFIELD, ILL – SEPTEMBER 10, 2012 – Odle McGuire Shook (OMS) has been selected to work with Veterans Administration as the Design Architect of a Design/Build team for the design of a 1,000 niche Columbarium (exterior repository for cremains) for veterans at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois. The concrete and marble structures will be enhanced with exterior seating and landscaping to be compatible with the existing historic cemetery and to provide a contemplative space for surviving relatives. Completion is expected in late spring 2013.
